Your right of withdrawal
If you are a consumer resident in the European Union, you have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days without giving any reason. This right is granted under Directive 2011/83/EU and, in Italy, Articles 52–59 of the Consumer Code (Codice del Consumo, Legislative Decree 206/2005).
The withdrawal period expires 14 days after the day on which you — or a third party indicated by you, other than the carrier — take physical possession of the goods. Where an order is delivered in multiple shipments, the period runs from receipt of the last item.
How to withdraw
Inform us of your decision by an unambiguous statement before the withdrawal period expires. You may:
- Email support@nordictechco.shop with your order number, or
- Use the model withdrawal form reproduced at the bottom of this page.
You do not have to use the model form. Any clear statement is sufficient. We will acknowledge receipt of your withdrawal by email without delay.
Returning the goods
Send the goods back to us without undue delay, and in any event no later than 14 days from the day you communicated your withdrawal. The deadline is met if you dispatch the goods before that period expires.
Return shipping is free. We will email you a prepaid label once you notify us. This goes beyond what the law requires — under Article 57 of the Consumer Code we would be entitled to charge you the direct cost of return, and we have chosen not to.
Please return items in a condition that allows resale where possible: original packaging, accessories and documentation included. You are liable only for any diminished value of the goods resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and functioning — roughly, the handling you would be permitted in a physical shop.
Refunds
We will reimburse all payments received from you, including the standard delivery cost, without undue delay and in any event no later than 14 days from the day we are informed of your decision to withdraw.
We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back, or until you have supplied evidence of having sent them, whichever is earlier.
Reimbursement is made using the same means of payment you used for the initial transaction, unless you expressly agree otherwise. You will not incur any fees as a result of the reimbursement.
If you chose a delivery method more expensive than our standard offering, we reimburse the standard delivery cost, not the premium.
Exceptions
The right of withdrawal does not apply to:
- Sealed goods unsealed after delivery which are not suitable for return for reasons of health protection or hygiene — this includes in-ear headphones and earbuds where the hygiene seal has been broken;
- Goods made to your specifications or clearly personalised;
- Sealed audio recordings or software unsealed after delivery.
If you have unsealed in-ear products but they are faulty, the exception above does not apply. Faults are handled under the legal guarantee, below.
Legal guarantee of conformity
Separately from the right of withdrawal, goods we sell carry a 2-year legal guarantee of conformity under Directive (EU) 2019/771 and Articles 128–135 of the Italian Consumer Code.
If an item is defective, not as described, or does not perform as it should, you are entitled to have it repaired or replaced free of charge, or — where repair or replacement is impossible, disproportionate, or not carried out within a reasonable time — to a price reduction or to rescind the contract.
For the first year after delivery, any lack of conformity that becomes apparent is presumed to have existed at the time of delivery. You do not need to prove it.
To make a claim, email support@nordictechco.shop with your order number and a description of the fault. This guarantee is provided by law, is free of charge, and exists in addition to — not instead of — any commercial warranty.
Damaged or incorrect items
If your order arrives damaged or we sent you the wrong item, contact us within a reasonable period of noticing. We will arrange collection and send a replacement, or refund you in full. You will not pay shipping in either direction.
Dispute resolution
We would rather resolve a complaint directly. Write to support@nordictechco.shop and we will respond within 5 business days.
If we cannot reach agreement, you may refer the matter to an accredited alternative dispute resolution (ADR) body in your country of residence. Consumers in Italy may contact the ADR bodies listed on the register maintained by the Ministry of Enterprise and Made in Italy. Nothing in this policy limits your right to bring proceedings before the courts of your place of residence.
Note: the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution platform ceased operating on 20 July 2025 and is no longer available.
